Your trust matters here

What we collect. When you create an account we store your name and email address. When you forge a memory capsule we store the text you write, any photo you choose to attach, the mood and reminder date you select, and the AI-enhanced narrative and perspective message generated from your input. If you record a voice memo, we also store the audio file and its transcript.

How memories are secured. Your capsules are private by default. Only you can read them. They are protected by row-level access controls so no other user can view, edit, or delete your memories. If you choose to make a capsule public, only that specific capsule becomes viewable by others via its share link. Your data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest on our servers, which are hosted in the United States. We do not offer end-to-end encryption — our servers can read your data to provide features such as AI enhancement, reminders, and sharing. No other user can access your data unless you explicitly share it.

Photos and AI photo restoration. Photos you attach are stored securely and used only to inspire the AI-generated narrative for that capsule. If you use the AI Photo Restoration feature (Revive), the photo you upload is sent to our AI image provider for enhancement and the restored result is stored as a new photo in your capsules. We do not use your photos or memories to train any models, and we do not sell your data. A free, no-account Revive teaser is available on the landing page — when you use it without signing in, the photo you upload is sent to our AI provider for processing and the result is shown to you in your browser. It is not permanently stored on our servers unless you sign in and save it. Free teaser results include a watermark.

Voice and video recordings. When you record a voice or video message inside a celebration envelope, the media file is stored securely and is only accessible via the envelope's share link. Recordings are limited to 60 seconds.

Share your reaction. When you use the "Share your reaction" feature while viewing a capsule, envelope, or montage, your device's camera and microphone capture a short split-screen video of your response alongside the content. This recording is processed and stored locally on your device until you choose to share or save it — it is not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly share it. This feature is available only for celebratory content and is never shown in Legacy Delivery or grief-adjacent viewing flows.

QR codes in printed keepsakes. Printed photo books and calendars include QR codes that link back to specific memories' digital versions (including any voice memos or narratives) and to the full digital collection. Scanning a content QR code opens the memory on our website — no account is required to view a publicly shared memory. App-download QR codes (used on business cards and the /get redirect page) link to letusallcelebrate.com/get, which routes to the App Store or Google Play based on the scanning device.

AI processing and enhancement levels. When you forge a memory, you choose how much AI touches it: "Keep my words" (no AI — your text is stored as-is), "Gentle polish" (light edits that preserve your voice), or "Full narrative" (a full rewrite with beautiful imagery). For "Gentle polish" and "Full narrative," your text (and photo, if attached) is sent to our AI provider to generate the narrative and perspective message. The result is stored on your capsule and is not shared with anyone. You can remove the AI enhancement from any saved capsule at any time — your original text is always preserved. The Keeper assistant sends your question and conversation history to our AI provider to generate a response. When you ask the assistant to perform an action on your behalf (such as forging a memory or sending an envelope), it may access your own data — such as your capsules, envelopes, and settings — only as needed to fulfill your request, and that data is sent to our AI provider as context. The assistant can only ever access your own data, never another user's, and no data is shared with other users through the assistant. If you use the voice input option in the assistant, your audio recording is uploaded and sent to our AI transcription provider to convert your speech to text; the transcript becomes your message and the audio is not stored. The admin assistant (Cairn) is available to admins only and operates within the same data boundaries described above. When an admin opts in, Cairn may send a brief analysis summary to the admin's account email after a review is completed — no other user's data is included in that email.

Community and circles. When you post a mood ripple, we store your selected mood tag and display name (unless you post anonymously). When you join a private circle, the circle creator can see your name. Circle membership is invite-only — there is no public discovery, open chat, or direct messaging. Mood echoes (reactions) are limited to a fixed set of mood tags; no text comments are permitted.

Family Capsules. When you create or contribute to a Family Capsule, your display name and the entries you add are visible to other members of that capsule. The capsule owner can see the list of members. If you are invited to a Family Capsule, your email address is included in the invitation record until you accept or decline.

Celebration Envelopes and Recipient Spaces. When you send an envelope, the recipient's name and email address are stored to deliver the envelope notification. Recipients who do not have a full account receive a Recipient Space — a passwordless link that lets them view envelopes sent to them. Their email address is stored for this purpose. If they later create a full account, their Recipient Space is merged into their account automatically.

Group Envelopes. When you create a Group Envelope, the invite link is shareable by you. Contributors who add messages provide their name and optionally their email. Their contributions (text, voice, or video) are stored as part of the envelope and are visible to you and the recipient when the envelope is opened.

Legacy Delivery and Trusted Contacts. If you enable Legacy Delivery, you designate one or more Trusted Contacts by name and email address. We store this information to send check-in confirmations and, if needed, delivery notifications. Trusted Contacts do not receive access to your memories unless they explicitly confirm your passing, and only the specific envelopes and capsules you assign to them are released. Trusted Contact email addresses are stored until you remove them or delete your account.

Important Dates and reminders. If you add an Important Date, we store the recipient name, occasion, date, and reminder preferences you provide. If you set a reminder date on a capsule, we send your memory to the email address on your account on or after that date. We only email registered users for capsule reminders. You can opt out of reminder and anniversary emails at any time from your Profile settings.

Push notifications. If you have the mobile app installed and have granted notification permission, we may send push notifications for reminders and Family Capsule activity. Push notification delivery is handled through Apple Push Notification service (APNs) on iOS and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) on Android — third-party services operated by Apple and Google respectively. A device token that identifies your device is shared with these services solely to deliver notifications. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.

Coupons and referrals. When you redeem a coupon code, we record your user ID, the code redeemed, and the redemption timestamp to prevent duplicate use and to track premium access duration. When you refer a friend, we store your referral code and the referred user's ID (once they subscribe) to grant 3 bonus envelopes and 7 days of full access.

Print orders. When you order a printed keepsake, we store your shipping address, order details, and tracking information. This data is shared with our print partner, Gelato, solely to produce and ship your order. Gelato's privacy policy applies to the data they receive.

Payments. Subscription and gift payments (including gift subscriptions and Envelope Packs) are processed by Stripe in US Dollars (USD). Printed keepsake payments are processed by Stripe in Canadian Dollars (CAD). We do not store your full card number on our servers — Stripe handles all card data securely.

Data retention. Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete a memory, it is permanently removed immediately. When you delete your account, all your capsules, envelopes, community ripples, mood echoes, circle memberships, family capsule memberships, vault entries, important dates, legacy settings, trusted contacts, user settings, and subscription records are permanently deleted immediately. Circles and family capsules you created are deleted entirely; your ripples are marked as from a deleted user to preserve community context. Print order records are retained for 90 days after delivery for customer service purposes, then deleted.

Data sharing. We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with our service providers that help us operate the app: our AI provider (to generate narratives and assistant responses), Stripe (to process payments), Gelato (to print and ship physical orders), Apple (to deliver push notifications on iOS via APNs), and Google (to deliver push notifications on Android via Firebase Cloud Messaging). These providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

Your rights and choices. You can download a copy of your data at any time from your Profile page. You can delete individual memories from My Capsules. You can delete your entire account and all associated data from your Profile page — this action is immediate and irreversible. If you cannot sign in, you can ask us to delete your account and all of its data from the account deletion request page — we confirm every request from the email on the account. You can opt out of reminder and anniversary emails from your Profile settings without deleting your account.

Age requirement. Letusallcelebrate is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy. We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Subscription terms. Letusallcelebrate is free to use, and the free tier stays yours for as long as you keep your account — no card required. Premium features are available on a monthly plan at $9.99 USD/month or an annual plan at $49.99 USD/year. The subscription is charged in US Dollars (USD). When you subscribe, billing begins immediately and your chosen payment method is charged automatically each cycle until you cancel.

Coupon and gift access. Coupon codes and gift purchases grant temporary premium access for a specified duration (7, 14, or 30 days, or the duration of the gift). During this period, you have full premium access. When the coupon or gift period ends, your account returns to the free tier. Your memories are always retained.

Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically on the same calendar day each billing cycle. You will continue to have access to all subscriber features as long as your subscription is active.

Cancel anytime. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Profile page or through your Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals — you will not be charged for the next billing cycle.

Access after cancellation. When you cancel, you keep full access to subscriber features until the end of your current paid billing period. After that, your account returns to the free tier — your existing memories remain accessible and you keep Forge New (all lofi tracks), My Capsules, Daily Habit, Envelopes (2 free each month, plus any one-time credited envelopes you hold), Montages (2 free), Keepsake PDF downloads, Community, Workshops, Prompts, Important Dates, Legacy, and joining Family Capsules.

Refunds. Because a subscription can be cancelled at any time and access continues until the end of the paid period, subscription fees are non-refundable once charged. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact support and we will review your case.

One-time purchases. Printed keepsakes (Photo Book $49.99 CAD, Calendar $29.99 CAD, Year-at-a-Glance $27.99 CAD) are one-time charges in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Gift purchases are one-time charges in US Dollars (USD): a gift subscription is $9.99 USD for one month or $49.99 USD for one year, and an Envelope Pack is $4.99 USD for 10 credited envelopes. Credited envelopes are one-time — they are used after your 2 free envelopes each month and they do not refill. Print-ready PDF downloads are free. Printed orders that have entered production with our print partner cannot be cancelled or refunded. If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact support for a replacement or refund.

Price changes. We will notify you in advance of any change to the subscription price. Any price change applies to your next renewal and you may cancel before it takes effect.

Returns for printed keepsakes. Defective printed orders can be reported within 14 days of delivery — see our Return Policy for the full process, what counts as defective, and how a replacement or refund is handled.

Acceptance. By creating an account or using Letusallcelebrate, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Accounts. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. You must be at least 18 years old to use the app.

AI-generated content. The enhanced narratives and perspective messages in your capsules are generated by artificial intelligence. They are creative, reflective suggestions — not professional advice of any kind (medical, psychological, legal, or financial). Content may occasionally be inaccurate or not reflect your intent. You are responsible for reviewing any content before relying on it or sharing it. The AI Photo Restoration feature enhances photos using AI; results may vary and are not guaranteed to meet a specific quality standard.

No professional advice. Letusallcelebrate is a journaling and reflection tool. It is not a substitute for professional care. If you are experiencing distress or a mental-health crisis, please reach out to a qualified professional or local emergency service.

Your content. You retain ownership of the memories, photos, and recordings you submit — including reaction videos recorded with the "Share your reaction" feature. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you add, and for obtaining consent from anyone visible or audible in your recordings. We process your content only to provide the service (storing, enhancing, and reminding).

Acceptable use. You agree not to use the app to store unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, and not to attempt to access other users' data or disrupt the service. You agree not to harass, threaten, or impersonate other users, and not to use the community features to send spam or commercial messages.

Community guidelines. Community mood ripples are limited to mood tags — there is no open text chat or direct messaging. You can report any ripple, circle, or member that violates these guidelines. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Subscription and billing. The free tier stays free — no card required, for as long as you keep your account. A paid subscription is required to create new premium content. Subscriptions are billed in US Dollars (USD) through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time. Monthly: $9.99 USD/month. Annual: $49.99 USD/year.

One-time purchases. Printed keepsakes (Photo Book, Calendar, Year-at-a-Glance) are one-time purchases billed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) through Stripe. Gift subscriptions ($9.99 / $49.99 USD) and Envelope Packs ($4.99 USD for 10 extra envelopes) are one-time purchases charged in US Dollars (USD) that grant the recipient a redeemable code. Print-ready PDF downloads are free. Printed orders are fulfilled by our print partner, Gelato. Production typically takes 2–5 business days, followed by shipping which varies by destination (typically 3–10 business days). Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Shipping is included in the purchase price. Once a print order enters production, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact support for a replacement or refund.

Coupons. Coupon codes grant temporary premium access for a specified duration (7, 14, or 30 days). Coupons are created by Letusallcelebrate and may be individual (one use per person) or group (multiple redemptions up to a limit). Coupon access is non-transferable and cannot be extended. When a coupon expires, the account returns to the free tier. Memories created during the coupon period are retained.

Legacy Delivery. Legacy Delivery allows you to assign envelopes and capsules to designated recipients for release after your passing. Release requires explicit confirmation from a Trusted Contact you designate — no content is released automatically or based on inactivity alone. Letusallcelebrate relies on the Trusted Contact's confirmation and has no independent means of verifying a user's passing. You are responsible for keeping your Trusted Contact information current and for ensuring your Trusted Contact understands their role. Letusallcelebrate does not guarantee that Legacy Delivery will occur in every circumstance, and is not liable for failure to deliver content if check-in reminders go unanswered, if Trusted Contacts cannot be reached, or if the service is discontinued. Legacy Delivery is a supplementary convenience, not a legally binding estate planning tool. For legally binding arrangements, consult a qualified estate planning attorney.

Account access after passing. Legacy Delivery releases only the specific envelopes and capsules you assign to your designated recipients, upon confirmation by your Trusted Contact. Your account itself is not automatically deleted or transferred upon your passing. A family member, executor, or other authorized representative may request closure of your account by contacting us at info@letusallcelebrate.com with appropriate documentation. We will review such requests and take reasonable steps to close the account and permanently delete its data. Letusallcelebrate is not obligated to grant access to account contents beyond what Legacy Delivery specifies.

Third-party services. The app uses third-party services including Stripe (payments), Gelato (print fulfillment), and an AI provider (narrative generation and photo restoration). Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Service availability. We strive to keep the app available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Intellectual property. The app's design, original music (lofi compositions), and software are owned by Letusallcelebrate. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission. Your content remains yours.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Letusallcelebrate and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for the actions or omissions of third-party service providers, including our print partner and AI provider.

Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Letusallcelebrate and its operators from any claims arising from your use of the app or your violation of these terms.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the app operator is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to these terms. We may update these policies from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
